So for starters, Merry Christmas and stuff. I hope everybody had a brilliant break and that the kids are enjoying being back at school, and the parents are enjoying a quiet house or being back at work. My Christmas break was super fun, I FINALLY got a cell phone. :D I've been waiting long enough. -.- I also got some awesome handmade gifts from my siblings. :)
So today I was having a sentimental moment and thought I might blog about it. Freshman year, every morning before seminary, I would make myself and my best friend Tom hot chocolate. Soon, just plain old hot chocolate became QUITE bland and monotonous. So I decided to spice it up a little. :) I started adding vanilla extract or almond extract to our morning hot coco. One morning, I mixed in a little peanut butter and Tom and I decided it was an immediate hit. After Tom stopped coming to seminary in the mornings, I stopped making hot chocolate. The hot chocolate turned into one of those old memories for me, something I only wanted to remember sometimes.
Well, if you know me, than you know that that boy just had brain surgery, and I haven't been able to see him lately because his mom thinks of me as some kind of threat (ummm... ooook....) And under the circumstances, I freaking miss Tom. So I did something I haven't done in about a year. I made myself some peanut butter hot chocolate.
I can honestly say that ALL that sugar can NOT be good for my system (especially because my body is use to eating pretty healthy foods. haha) but I think its worth it. Just remembering old things I had forgotten, memories from 2010. I think all the sugar I just swallowed is MOST deffinantly worth it.
NOW! on a TOTALLY different note: guess who turns 16 on the 11th?!?! That would be me. :D BOO YA BABY! super excited. I invited out a bunch of friends to go to Bouncing Bears with me. (For my friends who DON'T live here, its a bounce house for little kids :D ) I told everybody that they HAD to get me a gift and it HAD to be the MOST random thing they could POSSIBLY think of. Basically, I'm pretty excited to see what my friends come up with. :) knowing my peeps, I'm gonna end up with a jar of snow, a dirty sock, half a sandwich, and a rock. OH MY GOSH! I CAN'T WAIT!! and there might even be a prize for the MOST random gift! :D maybe... if I decide to get off my lazy butt.
