What I did on Friday....

So I should have posted yesterday after I got home, but I was so freaking tired.... and I'm pretty tired right now, but I wanted to post a quick happy note about Tom's birthday party last night.
So at about 5:50 pm last night, mom and I left the house to go to Tom's for a little party. We kinda drove right past the road and couldn't really find it in the dark. But we found it eventually. Mom drove up, said hi to Tom and his dad, and left. It was just me, Forrest, and Tom for quite a while so we went upstairs and talked for a bit. We played Tom's guitar, listened to music, and danced around his room a bit. Forrest, Tom and I were all texting on Forrest's phone to Magen and some girl that Forrest goes to dance class with. A bit later, Tyler and Logan showed up. At one point we had Tom's iPod, Forrest's iPod, and Tyler all playing music at the same time. It was SO loud. haha
Finally, we decided to go downstairs and watch a movie. Tom turned on the 4th Pirates and came and sat by me. Forrest, Logan, Tyler, and Ted (Tom's bro) were all sitting on the couch, and Tom's mom was trying to get pictures of Tom and I sitting on the loveseat. Needless to say, I would cover my face every time she got out her phone. :) A few minutes into the movie, Tom's dad called us all into the kitchen to have pizza, icecream, cake, and soda. (I'm still working on no sugar and saturated/trans fats, so I didn't have any.....) After the boys got their food, we started the movie back up. Forrest left about a half hour later, and Tyler and Logan were gone soon after that. LOL Tom and I ended up spending an hour together before my mom came to get me.... 10 minutes before she told me she was gonna come. -.- but whatever, at least I got the little time I was allowed with Tom.

So he has surgery scheduled for two Sundays from tomorrow. I'm terrified to say the absolute least. I know the surgery isn't gonna go wrong, but the chance that I could lose him is to much sometimes. He could wake up paralyzed, be unable to talk, unable to walk... or the thing I'm most afraid of, lose his memory. I'm just praying that the surgery will go well and he will be back home soon, safe and sound.

I'm glad I got to spend a couple of hours with Tom yesterday, but I hope thats not the last time I get to see him before his surgery. If your reading this Tom, be safe boy, and remember your version of what Achmed says. :)
