OK so I was feeling REALLY sick all day, so I ended up going to bed at about 1 in the afternoon..... I slept until 530 -.- Guess who's not gonna be sleeping tonight. When I woke up, I decided that I wanted to make dinner... but it HAD to be something with sweet potatoes.... So I made mashed sweet potatoes. :D basically it was one big sweet potato, 6 small red potatoes, milk, butter, and pesto sauce. NOW! before you freak out and be all like "What the heck!?! PESTO SAUCE!?!?" That was a total accident and it turned out the be the hit of the night. Mom made Pesto Salmon and when I put the salmon and the sweet potatoes on the plate, they kinda mixed... and it was like an explosion in my mouth. For. Real. So here is a picture of my happiness of the day.
And here is a little bit more happiness of my day. Tom comes home tomorrow. He just had the surgery like 4 days ago, on the 19th, and they are already discharging him. I am ECSTATIC that he is recovering so well. We aren't exactly on a talking basis right now, but that doesn't really matter. Just the fact that he will be healthy and whole soon is good enough for me. I still love you Penguin.
