HEIDI!!

OK so I am so sorry!! I don't have any pictures from today. But I can honestly say that I had an amazing day!! Heidi came over for the first time in MONTHS and we made brownies and talked and it was great!!! But we had a little.... mayhem while baking. (smiley face) Bri, Heidi and I were all baking in the kitchen trying to get the brownies done before Heidi had to go home.... So I was kinda rushing while I baked... and that almost ended in a disaster!
So we had the batter done and in the pan, we tasted the batter before we cooked it to see how good it was. The comment made from Bri was, "Dude, this tastes like pudding!" AND IT DID!! The batter wasn't super thick, but it was very smooth, and tasted exactly like chocolate pudding!! The brownies were put in the oven for 20 minutes and we started to make the frosting to go on top. Five minutes after the frosting has been mixing, Bri goes, "Hey Sam, why did you need the flour out?"
"Umm, I used it.. didn't I?" I questioned Bri and Heidi. We got into a small argument about whether I had used the flour in the brownies or not.
"Hey... maybe thats why they tasted like pudding..." Heidi says. "Because they didnt have any flour..." Bri concludes. I start to feel like an idiot as I pull the brownies out of the oven, poor the batter into another bowl and mix in the 1 and 1/3 cup of flour then put the brownies back into their pan and stick then back in the oven.
All the while, Heidi, Bri, and I are laughing hysterically at my trip up.
As soon as the brownies are back in the oven, we continue with the frosting, but soon realize that we are out of milk. Ken offers to make some so that we could work on the frosting. Then the phone rang... TOM ALERT!! lol So I was on the phone, with a blender in the background, Heidi and Bri talking loudly, while I tried to make frosting... INSANENESS!! So I told Tom to call me back later, and finished the brownies... BUUUT we ended up making the frosting wrong... it was kinda... liquidy.. LOL like.. a lot liquidy. Mum said to add more powdered sugar and mix it well... we did.... it didnt work well. So basically we had chewy brownie soup. :) It was definantally an adventure! I cant wait to hang out with Heidi again soon!!

We are actually planning on going to the dance together. annnnd... if Tom can finish cleaning his room, then he will be there. It will be the first time I have seen that boy since December. :)
