adventurs at camp

OK so i think ill tell a little about my camp adventures. Swimming in the lake is always fun! LaDaSa Lake is the most disgusting lake in AK but also the most fun. So I didnt get in the lake at all on the first day of camp. My friends and I stuck our feet in, but didn't think it was worth jumping in on the first day. But the second day we all jumped in. My friend Aubry was pushed in (fully clothed) and I leaned over one of the floating docks to wash my hair.... Then my friend Baily and I jumped in. :) At one point, Baily, Taylor, Aubry and I were all on one of the floating docks and we got pushed out to the middle of the lake.... and I had to pull everybody back -.- Then on the third day of camp I decided that I wasn't going to get in. I was just gonna wash my hair with Aubry's shampoo and conditioner over the floating dock and leave it at that.... BUUUUUT Magen (who I hung out with most of camp) was planning on jumping in. Near the end of our time at the lake Magen did jump... but nobody would jump with her. So I felt bad for her and decided to be a good friend and I grabbed her hand and jumped in fully clothed. :) jeans and everything. HAHA

The food was amazing as always. I love camping. :) But the mosquitoes where killer! I literally have 7 bites in one spot on my ankle. :-/ and I have then all over my back and legs where u'd THINK I had been covered pretty well. But apparently mosquitoes have insanely sharp needle thingys in their mouths... and they can bite through clothes.... yeah. I'm not making any scence.

One the last night of camp its tradition to stay up as late as possible..... so I kinda threw a party in cabin 3. My ward wasn't very happy with me. LOL But I had fun. We played the hand game, and told scary stories, and sang camp songs... it really was a lot of fun. We had TONS of candy. :) haha Then I kicked everybody out at about 12AM. I sat in the front of the property with Sariah and we talked and enjoyed eachothers company until about 2 in the morning. After that I hung with a ton of girls and played pranks on the girls that were sleeping and I think I crashed at about 4AM only to get up at 7 in a few hours. -.-

Then on the last day we had a super yummy breakfast of muffins and bagels and yogurt. We then had to pack everything up and go to our final flag ceremony. I caught a ride home with Lena, Carmi, Sariah, Patricia and Connor. :) All the girls were bugging Connor the whole way back to the church. lol It was a ton of fun.

It was also Bri's first year of camp (my 4th year) and Bri and I chose to go our separate ways at camp this year. We slept in different cabins, hung out with different people, and hardly talked to eachother at all. The only time I really talked to Bri was when she was upset..... or when I woke up in Emma's bed because Bri was in mine... -.- yeah... it confused me at first too. HAHA


Any way.. I had tons of fun at camp and cant wait for next year when I'll be a YCL. :)
